We here in Maryland have had some serious weather related issues. I’m referring to the 30 inches of snow that we got over the weekend, with more on the way. If you ask me, I’d say that I’m loving it, and so is my son! If it’s going to be winter, it might as well snow. Bring it on, and bring on the fun. It gets us outside, and the weather after the storm couldn’t have been any better- bright, beautiful, gorgeous sunshine and warmth for playing! I hope you enjoyed it as much as we did!

In these images Brennan is only just about 10 days old, and the his parents are not only proud, but in that baby coma that comes with a newborn in the house. Thank you, Jeremy and Christie, for welcoming me into your home and letting me shoot your moments with him. Children are such a blessing and joy, and simply watching them makes my heart melt. Not a bad way spend my time…just dreamy. Enjoy!

My girlfriends are all having babies! Lucky for me, I get to shoot yummy eye candy like Baby A! For more of his yumminess, click HERE for his entire shoot!

The owner of the new Spro in Hampden, Baltimore- has been wishing to go back to Paris for a rendezvous with food, friends, and cafes. I’ve been asked to shoot some promos for his opening, and this was one of my favorites. This shoot was out of the box for me..I love to shoot children, and weddings are, by design- self explanatory with love everywhere. So this was a challenge, to set up the shots using my pure imagination and to get the models to understand what it was that you were hoping to get out of the image. Was my focus the product (which was, in this case, coffee)? Or was it the people serving the product?
The direction I received was that this shoot was more about his staff, and not about the product. I learned much, and had a great time with a great group of people.
I hope this image makes him go back to Paris next week. It made me want to!

Wishing you all the best for a warm and merry holiday season!

I had the pleasure of shooting the InfoTek Holiday Party last week, and let me tell you- it really WAS a pleasure! I wish ALL Holiday parties could throw it down like they did! Guests of the party, click HERE to view your proofs. Your administrator will give you the login and password.
Cheers, and Happy Holidays!

We bought Ryder a snow globe yesterday for fun- so he could get excited about the impending snow. He stared at it for hours, turning it this way, and that…..shaking it upside down, watching the snow swirl around the happy snow man. At bedtime, he wanted it right beside him, so it could snow in his room before it started snowing outside. He picked it up….and then…crrraasshhh.. shattered to a million pieces on the hardwood. His face was red, and he whimpered, “I’m sowwy Mommy..” Poor guy…I gave him a hug and told him that it would still snow, as I tucked him into bed.
This morning, he was enthralled. He’s loving the snow- and I told him the snow man was happy too. He was free from his snow globe, and he got to feel REAL snow….
Have a wonderful snow-filled evening..

Sometimes the most satisfying shoots come from photographing your buddies. You almost know what’s going to happen, when it happens- and there is no guesswork, no need to count on your intuition, and the smiles come naturally and in abundance!
